About Me

Aliya Fierro is a first-generation American artist and photographer of Vietnamese and Mexican decent. Born and raised in Northwest Arkansas, she continues her education through the University of Arkansas as a BFA photography candidate expected to graduate in December of 2025. Her works explore the process of looking within her natural state as well as creating abstract imagery that conveys a sense of nostalgia and emotional evaluation. Utilizing a variety of photographic methods such as digital, film and alternative processes, Aliya’s work is fueled through the process of experimentation and exploring the indescribable.
